Shades: A Poem on Racism

How We Answer
Should it be – that life be dictated, opportunity restricted, based on someone’s hatred?
Should it be – that a lighter skin colour be a determining factor for me to reach higher?
Equity is Justice
Black does not mean thug
Hispanic does not mean illegal
Asian does not mean virus
Brown does not mean terror
